STOP BASEMENT FLOODING NOW

This system adds one additional feature to System 4, the Sump Safety. The Sump Safety is a device designed to restrict the flow from the drain tile into the sump. Since flow through a 4-inch drain tile could theoretically exceed 200 gpm, even the capacity of System 4 could be exceeded. The Sump Safety is designed to physically limit the flow to less than the capacity of the installed pumps. |
| Adds backup capability for a loss of power or primary pump failure | |
| High flow backup pump capacity exceeds that of typical primary pumps | |
| Three batteries provide long run time for the battery backup pump | |
| Sounds alarm to notify you of system activation | |
| Sounds alarm to notify you of battery failure | |
| Physically limits the flow into the sump |

| With Utility Power | During Power Outage | |
| Pumping Capacity (gpm)1 | 124 | 107 |
| Pumping Time at 35 gpm (hours)2 | No Limit | 22.5 |
1 Pumping capacity is at the estimated operating point assuming 8 feet of lift is required. See the Get Technical pages for details.
2 During a typical rainfall, continuous operation at 35 gpm would not be required, so pumping time would be significantly longer.
