System 4
System 1 System 2 System 3 System 4 System 5 Compare

This system provides greater reliability and pumping capacity by including both the standard battery backup pump from System 2 and the inverter powered deluge pump from System 3.  This gives you both efficient, long duration pumping from the battery pump, and the high capacity backup of the inverter powered pump.  The same bank of three batteries is used for both backup pumps.

Key Benefits

bulletAdds backup capability for a loss of power or primary pump failure
bulletHigh flow backup pump capacity exceeds that of typical primary pumps
bulletThree batteries provide long run time for the battery backup pump
bulletSounds alarm to notify you of system activation
bulletSounds alarm to notify you of battery failure

Limitations

bulletPumping capacity could be exceeded by an extremely significant rainfall

Stats

With Utility Power During Power Outage
Pumping Capacity (gpm)1 124 107
Pumping Time at 35 gpm (hours)2 No Limit 22.5

1 Pumping capacity is at the estimated operating point assuming 8 feet of lift is required.  See the Get Technical pages for details.

2 During a typical rainfall, continuous operation at 35 gpm would not be required, so pumping time would be significantly longer.
